MTV EMA Budapest was about supporting LGBTQ+ communities instead of music – PHOTOS, VIDEOS

MTV EMA Budapest 2021 was about standing up for the LGBTQ+ people – based on media reports. The productions, the speeches, even the words sewed on the coats were part of a grand silent demonstration for the sexual minorities.

LGBTQ rules

According to 24.hu, in 2020, the gala moved to the Internet. Now it came to Budapest, to the Papp László Arena. The media suspected that the organizers would not miss the chance to protest against the government’s so-called homophobic legislation. Chris McCarthy, the chairman and CEO of MTV Entertainment Group Worldwide, wanted to remove the gala from Budapest because of the new law taking effect on 5 September.

Hungarian anti-paedophile law takes effect from 5 September – What changes?

Finally, they remained and agreed with some LGBTQ+ organizations that the gala’s theme would be standing up for the sexual minorities. The government knew that, as well. Gergely Gulyás, the prime minister’s chief of staff, warned during last week’s government info that the event would be used for provocations against the administration.

24.hu said that the organizers did what they promised. The performances, the speeches, the clothes and the awards served only one purpose: a pro-LGBTQ+ standup.

British activist, marketing guru, author of The Kim Kardashian Principle, Jeetendr Sehdev, sent a message to the Hungarian prime minister from the red carpet. On the back of his red coat stood: “Orbán, love wins”. Moreover, it was not by chance that one of the performers was Kim Petras. Petras is the world’s youngest known transsexual. She completed a sex reassignment surgery (SRS) at the age of 16. She said on the red carpet that all censorship against love was bad. She added that she was very thankful towards MTV.

Other performers expressed their pro-LGBTQ feelings on stage during the evening. For example, Yungblood, kissed his guitarist after he received the best alternative artist award. Saweetie, who got the best new artist award, stood up for the LGBTQ+ communities in her speech.

The government supported the event

The generation change awards were passed to LGBTQ+ activists. One of them was Viktória Radványi, one of the main organizers of Budapest Pride. She thanked the award to her girlfriend and offered it to the members of her movement.

As a result, media reports scarcely talked about the real contest and the winners. Ed Sheeran became the best artist of the year, and his was the best song, too (“Bad habits”). The best pop artist was BTS, while the best video was Lil Nas X’s “Montero (Call Me by Your Name)”. Doja Cat featuring SZA (“Kiss Me More”) won the best collaboration. Meanwhile, David Guetta became the best electronic artist, and the Måneskin band received the best rock award in Budapest. Among the Hungarian performers, Azahriah could take home the best European artist award.

Telex.hu wrote that the Hungarian Tourism Agency (MTÜ) sponsored the event, a government body promoting Hungarian tourism. In that respect, the Hungarian government organized a show during which all performers attacked the government’s anti-LGBTQ campaign. The Hungarian news outlet added that we would probably never know how much of the taxpayers’ money the MTÜ spent on the show.

  4. Today it is International Day of Tolerance. Do Hungarians know this? If it is so, make it a year of TOLERANCE!

  5. Samual is an “interesting” prophet to read and study.
Scholars express that Samual – which can be read in the narratives of the Hebrew Bible
    – claim Samual to have played a key role in the transition from the period of biblical judges – to the institution of a kingdom – under Saul.
Makes for a robust discussion ///
It was a beautiful summers day and Samual was just sitting back under a fig tree shading himself from the heat of the after-noon Sun.
Drifting in and out of sleep her hears God – the voice and message of God – speaking to him.
God saids to him, sorry to wake you but I do have a very important message – sharing – that I need to discuss with you.
Samual – God saids – you know the BIG differance in the way that people see and judge each other – that VARIES – from the way Christ Jesus sees them ?
    Samual replies – No.
God speaks – people just look at the outside of each other – the human face and external body – but Christ Jesus – he looks at the Heart.
Remember that Samuel saids God – teach it – preach it -hand it down through eternity to mankind – for ALL – to read and study – and to make a “core” in there lives – that follows practices – the Word of God.
Back to “rest” time Samual saids God – sorry to have woke you but NEEDED to get that message OUT.

Examining message to Samual – the Heart – what truely – from the Heart do we display in our lives – rather than just the surface or rather normalities in the practice conduct of our daily lives – and in the judgement of others – just looking at the Outside – not from our Heart but into the Heart of others.

Tolerance – broadness of the Word – the usage and power of the Word, that asks the question of ours and others – HEARTS.

  6. It is coming again!

Sodom and Gomorrah in the Bible
The Bible story about the city of Sodom and Gomorrah is a terribly sad story that reminds us of just how much God hates sin. During the time of Abraham, three angels came to visit him and two of the angels decided to go visit Sodom and Gomorrah. The Lord told Abraham that he was going to destroy the city because of the people’s sin. God also told Abraham that he would spare the people and not destroy Sodom and Gomorrah if he was able to find even 10 people who were righteous.

When the two angels arrived in Sodom and Gomorrah, a man named Lot invited them to stay at his home. Some men from the city came to Lots home demanding to be given the two visitors so they could have sex with them. Lot, trying to defend and protect the angels, offered the men his virgin daughters in their place. As the angry men tried to break into Lot’s home, the angels struck the men blind and then led Lot and his family out of the city.

As Lot’s family fled Sodom and Gomorrah, God rained down burning sulfur onto the city. All men, animals, and vegetation were destroyed. The angels warned Lot and his family to not look back but his wife did not listen and was immediately turned into a pillar of salt when she looked back.

  7. Enjoyed Istvan – the English version.
Hungary a country of 43% of its population baptised into the Roman Catholic Church – question mark over that percentage, but certainly under the Cardinalship of Peter Erdo – the pews have not grow and numbers through the entrance doors into the nave continue to decline.
Possible you and I could raise the steps of the elevated pulputs – and in modern 21st century dialogue – similar to the style Caritas commentated on in relation to the Prophet Samuel, and speak to the brethern, not over them, but at them, those that bother to atend, and speak – in earthen tone to them, ending in – and this is the Gospel of the Lord.
Could rattle a few rafters or wake up a few Devils in Disguise ///
Decades past – attended a retreat in a Benedictine Monastery, in Europe – over 4 days.
Great experience – 10 males in attendance – from “all stations in life.”
Remember a session conducted by the Abbot – “earthen” individual – a man of the 21st cetury who was Australian born.
We – as the group of ten – asked the question – when you read the Bible – what does it do for you ///
All 10 of us – gave explanations – to which the Abbot expressed compliments and merit to our input contribution and explanations – in the answers we shared to the question.
The Bible saids the Abbot, suppose you would like me to answer – what it does for me.
Simple to answer really – for me saids the Abbot – it – FEEDS Me.

  8. Istvan don’t be such a stick in the mud. Everyone should be able to share their love with whomever they like. Me thinks thou dost protesteth too much. Makes me wonder about you.

  9. Only empty headed entertainers believe Western media’s lies. The LGBT committee members are protected. The children are also protected from pedophiles and undue influence of the LGBT community. Hungary’s handling this problem perfectly.

  10. Mario’s “just get along” statement should be told to raped women, molested children. They probably resent Mario’s statement.

  11. “Tolerance – Respect and Acceptance.”

Hungarians are tolerant as long as they practice their perversion between consenting adults but it is stupid to expect normal people to respect and accept these perversions.
Hungary is not the morally bankrupt, decadent West. Hungary and the V4 nations believe that a man is a man, a woman is a woman and the raising of children is the responsibility of parents, not perverts.

  12. “California teacher boasts not having American flag, tells students to pledge allegiance to gay pride flag”

    NOT IN HUNGARY. NOT EVER.

  13. New Hampshire mom breaks silence after son suspended for saying there are ‘only two genders’
The school has a written policy on “transgender and gender nonconforming students” that says they have the right to be addressed by their preferred name and pronoun, irrespective of their biological sex.

    NOT IN HUNGARY. NOT EVER!
