New flight between Budapest and Balkans tourist paradise announced
The charter flight will start service in June and carry passengers to Montenegro until September.
According to turizmus.com, the flight’s operator will be Robinson Tours, and flights will connect Budapest Airport (Ferihegy) and Montenegro’s capital, Podgorica. The city is not far from the sea. Provided you travel by car, you can arrive in Budva, one of the most popular seashore beaches of the country, in just one hour.
The flights will belong to Air Montenegro, and the first will take off on 15 June from Budapest. Based on the plans, they will commute until 7 September once a week on Saturdays.
The flight will start from Podgorica at 4.45 PM and turn back from Budapest at 6.50 PM.
From the international airport of the Montenegrin capital, you can reach the sea in only one hour by bus. Furthermore, the plane ticket price includes transfer and luggage prices.
Montenegro’s most popular seashore beaches are Čanj, Rafailovici, Petrovac, Bečići and Budva. The backbone of the country’s tourism sector is 3- and 4-star hotels and apartments, from self-service to all-inclusive.
Robinson Tours has a Hungarian tour guide in Montenegro, and passengers can choose from several optional trips.
This will be the first time a charter flight connects Budapest with Montenegro. There is a direct flight between the two countries operated by Wizz Air. The Hungarian low-cost airline carries people between Budapest and Podgorica. Furthermore, Base Air does so between Győr and Tivat near the Bay of Kotor near the sea, with a small aircraft having 30 seats.
