Hotels in Budapest are experiencing a significant period of investment this year, with multiple establishments set to open in 2024. Let’s discover the brand new hotels in Budapest that will open soon!

New hotels in Budapest

The standout launch of 2024 in Budapest is set to be the opening of the Kimpton Bem Budapest Hotel, the first of its brand in Hungary. The project consists of two parts, with the office segment completed last year and the hotel section facing Bem Square currently nearing completion. The hotel is scheduled to open its doors in early summer, with preparations such as staff selection and training already underway, according to Turizmus.com.

The Kimptom Bem Hotel

The Kimpton Bem Hotel Budapest promises a luxurious experience with elegant decorations and intricate details across its 127 rooms, including 11 character-filled suites and a Presidential Suite on the 5th floor with a private roof deck. The hotel’s restaurant offers modern Mediterranean cuisine in a casually elegant setting, complemented by a rooftop greenhouse providing stunning panoramic views of Buda and Pest. The hotel aims to offer a blend of comfort and sustainability; consequently, its three-level underground garage will feature electric chargers.

Managed by Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, renowned for its boutique-style accommodations and pet-friendly services, the Kimpton Bem Hotel is poised to become a haven for relaxed living and gastronomic indulgence in Budapest.

This new hotel, part of the Bo53 project, is set to open in the autumn of this year and will feature 80 rooms. In response to guest demands, the hotel will offer not just double and family rooms but also residential units with kitchens. Services will include breakfast, a wellness area with infra- and Finnish saunas, a jacuzzi, massage rooms, and a fitness room. Like their other boutique hotels, this new addition will cater to both individual tourists and corporate clients.

Although construction was temporarily halted, work resumed last autumn, and the hostel is now taking shape with the walls up and construction ongoing. This innovative project aims to bridge the gap between hotels, hostels, and apartments by offering 400 beds across 78 rooms in various layouts.
Emphasising dining options, Joe & Joe is challenging conventions in the hospitality industry. The unit is expected to be ready for occupancy by the end of this year, although the opening may extend to early 2025.
