New luxury hotel opens in one of the most beautiful parts of Budapest
The Four Points by Sheraton Budapest Danube hotel, operated by Accent Hotels, opened in early June. Here’s what makes this luxury hotel, which opened in one of the most beautiful locations in the Hungarian capital, so special.
New hotel in Budapest
Work on the Four Points by Sheraton Budapest Danube complex progressed according to plan and the first guests were welcomed at the beginning of June.
Located in the XIII. district of Budapest, the hotel is tucked in a quiet neighbourhood, very close to the city centre. The name of the hotel suggests that the majority of the 105 rooms in the Danube-side building offer a magnificent view of the Danube, Margaret Island and the Buda Hills.
The hotel’s unique atmosphere is created by original posters from the 60s and 70s, complemented by modern technology. For example, the ninth floor of the building features a rooftop bar, which is in line with today’s trends, offering a wonderful panorama and refreshing cocktails not only for hotel guests but also for all visitors, according to turizmus.com.
Many guests, positive feedback
The hotel has been open since the beginning of June and since then, according to the operator’s information, the number of reservations received and the feedback from the first guests have been positive.
“It is a significant milestone for us that Accent Hotels has opened the first Four Points by Sheraton hotel in Budapest and following intensive preparatory work, we are now welcoming guests to the hotel. Our hotel chain’s experience in the domestic market and the franchise provided by Marriott International guarantee the long-term success of the hotel and a high level of service for our guests,” said Péter Kerek, Deputy Managing Director for Strategy at Accent Hotels.
Dávid Hegedűs Kerek, General Manager of Four Points by Sheraton Budapest Danube added “The feedback from our guests during the first week of operation has been extremely positive and the volume of pre-bookings for the summer season is also above our expectations”.
Hotel manager Csaba Hegedűs has put together a great team at the hotel: Ágnes Dömötör sales manager, Tamás Fejszák chef, Attila Kovács F&B manager, Lilla Szalai front office manager, Márta Baranyi housekeeping manager and Károly Gellérfi maintenance director.
