New record for hottest dawn in Hungary
The hottest dawn was recorded in Hungary on Tuesday, the national weather service said on its Facebook page.
Until today the hottest low temperature for July 11 was 23 C., recorded in Pannonhalma in 1968 and matched in Budapest in 2012. At dawn today, the mercury registered 25.1 near the city of Pécs, in southern Hungary.
Temperatures are expected to soar to between 28 C. and 36 C. in the course of today.
