Birdwatchers spotted an unusual species in Hungary
Bird watchers have spotted a very unusual sight in Hungary the other day, a flamingo.
While you can see this bird species in some zoos around Hungary, it is not exactly a native species to say the least.
However, according to Kiskunság National Park, since 1910, this was the 16th time people have spotted a flamingo in Hungary.
People have reported on Birding.hu, that they have spotted two flamingos at Dunatétlen. One of them is a young and the other one is an older bird.
According to the site of the national park, the greater flamingo is a very rare bird to spot in Hungary, but time to time, they can be seen wandering to Hungary.
It was in 2018 when people have spotted a flamingo last time and one just a year before that.
