Romanian man sexually assaulted and choked a woman in Budapest
The Budapest Public Prosecutor’s Office has charged a 32-year-old Romanian man with committing sexual assault in Budapest, the prosecutor’s office said on Friday.

According to the charges, the accused followed a woman in Budapest’s 12th district on June 18th, and pushed her to the ground, choked and sexually assaulted her. He fled afterwards as his victim continued to resist and shout for help. A finger of the victim was broken during the assault, the prosecutor’s office said. The man was arrested shortly after the crime, the prosecutor’s office said.
The district prosecutor’s office has requested a prison sentence for the accused.
