World record! Hungarian women’s water polo team scores 64 goals in one match – PHOTOS
The Hungarian women’s water polo team had an incredible start at the 2019 World Aquatics Championships held in Gwangju. They defeated the host South Korean team 64-0, which set a new world record in water polo history.
The Hungarian team took over the lead from Yugoslavia who kept the score for winning with the biggest difference over Guatemala in 1985 (62-0).
Next up the ladies will meet the team of Canada on Tuesday.
