No stopping: One of the world’s largest battery manufacturers is coming to Hungary
Sunwoda of China is preparing for the European market and plans to build a battery factory in Hungary. The battery giant is one of the ten largest battery manufacturers in the world.
According to Világgazdaság, a press release has recently been circulated in the international trade press. It reads that the company is actively preparing for the European market, including the Hungarian one. It has not yet been revealed exactly where the Hungarian site would be.
It was not previously known that Sunwoda was planning to expand in Hungary.
Just a few days ago, we reported that another Chinese battery giant, the Chinese Eve Power is investing HUF 400 billion (EUR 3.7 billion) in Hungary. Eve Power will build its first European plant in Debrecen.
