The figures the government supplies are highly questionable. Elsewhere in Europe the Omicron variant is rampant and yet it appears we barely have 100 cases. As we have no restrictions, it doesn’t seem to add up. Even those double and booster jabbed can still catch it.
Perhaps it’s more to do with having to pay for tests. Due to the rate of inflation and price hikes, people weigh up the cost of buying food or buying a covid test.
Unless of course it’s to show how well the government has managed to control the pandemic, thus making another ‘haven’t we done well’ for their election campaign. Let’s not forget that we have possibly the worst death toll in Europe per 100,000 though. That should not be forgotten.
Anyone believes that?
