Octobank strengthens its international position at SIBOS 2025

Sibos – 2025. Frankfurt am Main. Uzbekistan’s Octobank took part in the world’s largest financial forum, SIBOS 2025, as an exhibitor, showcasing its ambition to become part of the global financial ecosystem and present its digital solutions to the international community.

A Global Stage for a Regional Player

SIBOS has traditionally been a key event for the global banking sector, bringing together leading banks, fintech companies, and regulators. This year, more than 12,000 participants discussed the future of digital payments, cross-border settlements, trade finance, and sustainable technologies.

For Octobank, participation marked a symbolic step — the bank presented its solutions alongside global players for the first time, strengthening Uzbekistan’s image as an emerging financial hub in Central Asia.

Networking Outcomes and Negotiations

In SIBOS 2025 over the course of four days, the Octobank delegation held more than 40 business meetings with banks, industry organizations, and fintech companies from over 20 countries, including the United States, Turkey, India, Egypt, the UAE, Hungary, and others.
Discussions resulted in mutually beneficial ties with major financial institutions, including NASDAQ, Ghazanfan Bank, Banco De Comercio e Industria, Misyon Bank, Arab African Int. Bank, Aktif Bank, and HDFC Bank. Talks focused on digital payments, business solutions, and joint initiatives.
