On this weekend: Budapest Wine Festival
Meet a unique edition of Budapest Wine Festival! This year we will welcome our most devoted fans with a smaller-size but high-quality event between September 10 and 13 in the Hunyadi Courtyard of the royal Palace.
In one of the most fascinating environments of the Hungarian capital you will find premium wines, top gastronomy, and a lounge-like atmosphere for an unforgettable end-of-summer experience.
Ticket prices are higher than usual, yes. The reason is that with your purchase you are also contributing to the long-run survival of a festival with a history of three decades, in a situation that put every event organizer in a very hard position. We will thank you for your generosity with a surprise wine tasting and free entry to next year’s anniversary, 30th edition!
It is strongly advised to hurry up and secure one of the few hundred available tickets per time slot.
Not more than 500 people can stay together in the festival area at the same time, so tickets will be VERY limited indeed.
The event will be organized with maximum caution regarding the COVID19 situation.
The details:
Security measures: 10 sqm area per visitor, not more than 500 people per time interval, hand sanitizing points, social distancing alerts, staff wearing masks, complete cleaning between time intervals, intensive cleaning throughout the event, contactless payment.
Date: The festival is organized in the Castle, between September 10 and 13. The event can be visited during its opening hours if you purchase an entry ticket at the entrance.
Opening hours:
Thursday-Friday: 14.00 – 18.00 és 19.00 – 24.00
Saturday: 14.00 – 18.00 és 19.00 – 24.00
Sunday: 11.00 – 20.00
Tickets are to be purchased separately for each time slot! Available tickets: not more than 400 per time interval, to be bought online and in advance.
Payment: Purchases during the festival are cashless, you can only use a FestiPay festival card (available on the spot), or your own contactless bank card.
Everything you need to know about the Festipay Card… As part of a comfortable, cash free system, you can pay for everything you purchase at the Budapest Wine Festival, including drinks, foods and other products, using the Festipay Card.
