On this weekend: Let’s celebrate the Chinese New Year in Budapest
In celebration of the upcoming Chinese New Year and the 70th anniversary of Hungary-China diplomatic relations, the local Chinese community is presenting a biggest-ever cultural and gastronomy event at the Millenáris Park.
The three-day festival features a long list of cultural and festive programs, to name just a few, panda show, intangible heritage (craftsmanship) show, traditional Chinese medicine with free on-site diagnosis and treatment, tea art, kung-fu, costumes (Qipao, Hanfu) , instruments (Erhu, Guzheng, Waist drum), calligraphy and drawings. Interactive activities are carefully designed to make your experience unforgettable. Also travel information is available at the stand of China’s tourism office to help plan your trip to China.

Chinese Street Food Festival
On the sideline of various shows and performances there will be the Chinese Street Food Festival, which features 6 authentic Chinese restaurants based at Monori Center where the well-known Chinatown Street Food Night Market is held every summer. A wide selection of signature street food would be prepared fresh just by the center stage where you can watch the performances and take a bite of China at the same time.
