PM Orbán announced international press conference
Prime Minister Viktor Orbán announced that he will give an international press conference marking the start of the new year on Jan 5 at 11am.
“International press conference to start the year at 11am on January 5, 2026,” the prime minister said in a post on Facebook. “No question will be left unanswered.”

Orban only allows selected pre-screened guests and journalists to get anywhere near him to avoid awkward questions. I would take this announcement with a grain of salt. The questions will all come from government friendly journalists.
