Orbán’s Fidesz talks about putsch in the European Union
Balázs Hidvéghi, an MEP of ruling Fidesz, said “pro-migration forces” were making a “putsch-like” attempt to push through a new package of European Union measures on migration in an interview on Sunday.
Hidvéghi told public Kossuth Rádió that efforts were under way to establish a system that would be a return to the quota system “that failed years ago”, “perpetuating illegal migration“. Ministers and state secretaries at a meeting of the Justice and Home Affairs Council in Luxembourg on Thursday got the text of the new migration measures only half an hour before the vote, he said. Hungary and Poland voted against the measures, while a number of other, mainly central European member states, abstained, he added.
While Hungary has spent more than 1.5 billion euros on protecting its border, and the EU frontier, “waiting in vain” for Brussels to share the costs, efforts are under way to introduce a system that would penalise financially members states that reject illegal migration, Hidvéghi said. The political debate on migration in Hungary was the “broadest and most far-reaching” of any EU member state, and Hungarians delivered a “resounding no” to the matter of migrant resettlement in a referendum, he added.
Hidvéghi noted that the European Council had clearly expressed a position on deciding migration matters with a consensus, rather than a simple majority, as on Thursday. Recent developments fly in the face of the Council’s earlier stand, he said. Taking that into consideration, as well as Hungary’s firm position on the matter, the implementation of the proposal must be prevented, he added.
The big question is why the E.U.–together with other forces of globalism-socialism in West such as the Democrats in the U.S. but also many Republicans–not only steadfastly refuse to implement measures to reduce/eliminate illegal immigration but go so far as to punish those who try to.
Even if illegal aliens provided a productive labor force or were otherwise net economic contributors (which data show they overwhelmingly do and are NOT), with all the automation and outsourcing, the West has no shortage of workers and certainly won’t in the future. They do not make the West stronger in any measurable way such as by being talented artists or intellectuals.
The conclusion, then, is inescapable: The globalists-socialists are doing it in order to radically alter the demographics the Western civilization and demoralize its native population through skyrocketing crime, burgeoning welfare, higher taxes, etc. The worst part? The native population is placidly observing it all and going along with it.
Mr Steiner, this is exactly what is going on in Europe. The radical anti-white politics of “the big replacement”.
In Western European countries like the Netherlands, liberal left academics and politicians already speaking openly about the future minority status of the native population as unavoidable. Even calling the native population to accept this faith. Criminalizing and demonizing everyone who opposes these policies.
“Illegal immigrants”? Issue is obviously definition. We could be looking at “unauthorised” migrant is anyone living in a country without a residency permit (the Pews Research Center definition – you will find they’re quite unbiased). Our Politicians prefer to call them “illegal migrants” and lump in refugees (other than Ukrainians) and asylum seekers for good measure. Then there’s the other end of the spectrum that acknowledges the existence of refugees and asylum seekers and us the term “undocumented migrants”.
Here is what we signed up for: https://www.europarl.europa.eu/factsheets/en/sheet/151/asylum-policy – not a conspiracy but a clear trajectory of policy (whether our Politicians like it or not).
Re the tosh about the EU not contributing: remember the guy who said he’d build a wall and have the Mexicans pay for it? Since he never consulted with the Mexicans beforehand, his taxpayers ended up funding the various bits and pieces, instead. Similar story to Hungary.
The fun bit is obviously that any refugee, asylum seeker or whatever you choose to term them simply passes through our country. Very few end up staying, here. Fun facts re Ukrainians – https://www.consilium.europa.eu/en/infographics/ukraine-refugees-eu/ . Of the 1.5 million Ukrainian refugees our Politicians love to boast crossed into Hungary, less than 30’000 chose to stay here. Embarrassing!
