Pillow fight on Heroes’ Square

According to origo.hu, hundreds of people gathered on Heroes’ Square to celebrate the International Pillow Fight Day and cover the square with feathers. The organizers presented the usual rules in advance: you can hit only people who also have pillows, and you can use only soft pillows. In addition to several other cities of the world, pillow fighters could hit each other in Budapest, Miskolc, Debrecen, Szombathely, Szekesfehervar and Vac in Hungary.

The battle began for the megaphone word. The participants took care of each other, while they were having fun. Within a short time, feathers covered the square. The key message of the International Pillow Fight Day: Make pillow fight, not war!
