Planning flights to Budapest gradually becoming easier

Thanks to the EU immunity certificate, people who have had the coronavirus, possess a negative PCR or antigen test or have been vaccinated with a vaccine approved in the country of destination have been able to plan their travel in Europe more predictably from 1 July.

BUD writes that the digital COVID certificate makes travel to countries within the Schengen zone simple and seamless. The authenticity of the certificate can be verified with a QR code, which contains basic information and a digital stamp. If you are planning a holiday in a country outside the Schengen zone, Hungarian citizens can do so by using the Hungarian immunity certificate and by fulfilling the entry requirements of the country in question.
