PM Orbán to attend Washington nuclear summit in late March
Budapest, March 10 (MTI) – Prime Minister Viktor Orbán will attend the 2016 Nuclear Security Summit starting in Washington, DC., on March 31, Orban’s press chief said on Thursday.
The first summit addressing ways to minimise the chance of dangerous materials getting into the wrong hands was held in 2010 in Washington at the initiative of President Barack Obama, Bertalan Havasi said in a statement.
The nuclear security summit held for the third time in 2014 in The Hague was attended by representatives of more than 50 countries.
