High-speed police chase ends in tragedy in Budapest

According to the article, one person was killed at the scene, while another sustained severe injuries, including the loss of a leg. Emergency services dispatched eight ambulances, and the motorway exit was temporarily closed while authorities conducted their investigation.

According to MTI, the driver, a young man, died at the scene. Police confirmed that the circumstances of the collision and the reasons behind the high-speed evasion are now subject to a criminal investigation.
Firefighters and other emergency teams worked on site to secure the area and repair the damaged infrastructure, including the public lighting. The road has since reopened.
