Police disperse protesters who blocked MPs’ underground garage
Budapest, December 15 (MTI) – Shortly after 9am today, police dispersed around 20 protesters who had blocked Parliament’s underground garage serving lawmakers.
After calling on the protesters to leave the site three times, the police forcibly removed them from in front of the garage. The demonstrators remained in the vicinity.
The protesters held banners with the slogans “No exclusion”” and “No austerity!” and chanted: “constitution, democracy, welfare state!”
