The most popular jazz opera of Gershwin in Budapest again
The well-known themes and evergreens of Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess will be heard again on Margaret Island, after a long absence.
The performance organised by the Budapest Summer Festival will star American star singers, accompanied by a Symphony Orchestra, while a series of magnificent images will set the mood on Margaret Island’s Open-air Stage. The production stars two of America’s most renowned opera singers, who will turn the performance into an unforgettable experience. We are proud to welcome Laquita Mitchell as Bess and Kenneth Overton as Porgy as they make their debut in Hungary!
Porgy and Bess live concert show on the 23rd and 25th of June on the Margaret Island Open-air Stage.
