The radical Mi Hazánk (Our Homeland) party aims to replace not only the government but also the left-wing opposition alliance, deputy leader Dávid Dócs said on Wednesday.
It has become clear in the parliamentary election on April 3 and in the period since that the left-wing alliance is “simply unfit” not only to replace the government but even to act as an opposition force, he told a press conference at Parliament. The fact that Jobbik and Democratic Coalition lawmakers refused to take up their mandates earlier on Wednesday has also confirmed this, he added.
Mi Hazank aims to act as a constructive opposition force and will not vote down any proposal purely because it has been submitted either by Fidesz or the united opposition, he said.
