Ryanair launches new flight to Italy from Budapest!
The Irish low-cost airline Ryanair will launch daily flights between Milan and Budapest from the end of March.
Ryanair has added a new Budapest route to its 12 weekly flights from Bergamo to Milan Malpensa airport, with daily flights to Milan Malpensa available from March 2024.
The FR 8492/3 flights will operate seven days a week from 31 March 2024 between Milan-Malpensa (MXP) and Budapest, on alternate days, with Ryanair Sun aircraft based in Budapest on some days and Malta Air aircraft based in Milan on others, airportal.hu reports.
Ryanair operates one flight a day to Bergamo airport on weekdays in the morning and evening and one flight a day on weekends. This is now joined by the Budapest-Milan route, which could be a big competitor to Wizz Air, the Hungarian-owned airline with 11 flights a week to Milan in the summer.
Ryanair will offer Hungarians 3 million seats on its 2024 summer schedule to destinations around the world.
