Spicy: This small town is the ‘sex capital’ of Hungary

Every year since 2015, a Hungarian dating site has used Google Trends to find out where Hungarians are most interested in online sexual content geographically. This year, the “sex capital” of Hungary turned out to be a small town in Békés county: Kondoros.

Once again this year, Szexrandi.hu is presenting the results of its research on which cities have been more receptive to erotic content since last summer, and where people searched for the word sex the most, HellóVidék reports.

Last year, Transdanubia and the Trans-Tisza settlements were still neck and neck. However, this year, Eastern Hungary topped the list in terms of interest in sexual topics.

Last year’s first place winner was Farád, who did not even make the Top 10 this year. Now Kondoros in Békés County has become the porn capital of the country. Since last summer, this is where the population has been the most interested in erotica and sex on the internet.

It’s interesting to note that the search for lesbian pornographical content was the most popular, as this topic related to the word sex has shown the most upward trend over the past year, according to Google Trends.

What do residents think?

Blikk went to Kondoros and interviewed some people to find out what they think about living in the country’s sex capital.

At 58, I find it amusing to live in the sex capital of the country,

Erika laughed.

“I had no idea this was a perverted town! There’s plenty of entertainment and sports to do here, but it seems the locals like to spend their time at home too!” smiled Róbert, a waiter in one of the restaurants.

“It’s a good joke, although I would have been glad if this wasn’t what put us on the map.”

Fortunately, there were some who saw the situation clearly and seriously.

In my opinion, pornography has a big influence on relationships, and in the wrong way. It turns our image of sexuality completely upside down and, because it is mainly made for men, it creates expectations for women,

Dániel explained.

Obviously, everyone has seen pornography, but I warn everyone against it because it is artificial and abnormal. Instead of looking at clickbaitcontent, we can keep ourselves busy by doing sports or reading.
