Another day, another stabbing in Hungary: foreign nationals’ quarrel takes a life

Today’s stabbing in Hungary is the second such incident this week. A 44-year-old man of Kazakh nationality stabbed a 48-year-old man of Ukrainian nationality several times in a building on Nagykőrösi Road, in District XXIII of Budapest, after an argument and a fight.

Stabbing in Hungary: two foreign nationals’ quarrel

A man was stabbed during a scuffle in District XXIII of the capital, Soroksár on Wednesday at dawn. The man died on the spot, and the perpetrator was arrested by the police, said the Budapest Police Headquarters on police.hu.

According to the information, the Activity Management Centre of the Budapest Police Headquarters received a report at 1:05 PM on 1 May that two men were fighting in District XXIII of Budapest, and one of them was bleeding.

According to the primary information, a 44-year-old man of Kazakh nationality stabbed a 48-year-old man of Ukrainian nationality several times in a building on Nagykőrösi Road after an argument and a fight, they wrote. The stabbed man suffered such serious injuries that he died on the spot. The perpetrator was apprehended by police at the scene and is being held accountable, they added.

As Daily News Hungary reported yesterday, this is not the first stabbing in Hungary this week. On Tuesday, the Győr District Court ordered the arrest of the suspect in the stabbing at Bőny primary school. The perpetrator, a 6th-grade girl, had made a “list” of his classmates and marked in red those whose lives she wanted to take. The county police are investigating the case on suspicion of attempted premeditated murder.

  1. Avoid any kind of argument with strangers. You never know what it can lead to and if someone attacks you and you successfully defend yourself you can end up in jail for assault or worse just for defending yourself.

  2. Many migrants cannot leave their hate behind. These people do not belong in Hungary. Send survivor home.

  4. This happens daily all over Western Europe! They fight among themselves and sadly also target the native population more and more! The Hungarian government knows what is going on in Europe, so they should have been more careful, but I am far beyond trusting in the good intentions of Fidesz and its leader!
