Hungarian-born businessman among the richest Americans!

The Forbes 400 was recently published, which is the Definitive Ranking of The Wealthiest Americans. The Forbes 400 richest Americans are worth a record-breaking $2.96 trillion. 31st on this list is the CEO of Interactive Brokers, Tamás Péterffy, who actually has Hungarian origins.

Amazon-founder and CEO Jeff Bezos is the No. 1 richest in the U.S (for the second year in a row) with $114 billion, and Bill Gates came in at No. 2 with $106 billion, Forbes reports. The top 10 of the Forbes 400 list are:

The 31st wealthiest American is Hungarian-born Tamás Péterffy with 17.5 billion USD.

Thomas Peterffy is a Hungarian-born American billionaire businessman. He is the founder, chairman, CEO, and the largest shareholder of Interactive Brokers, which is a U.S.-based brokerage firm. The company operates the largest electronic trading platform in the U.S. by the number of daily average revenue trades. The company brokers stocks, options, futures, EFPs, futures options, forex, bonds, and funds.
