Rose-shaped gelatos are getting rather popular and, according to szeretlekmagyarorszag.hu, the famous Cosmopolitan magazine named Budapest’s Gelarto Rosa the provider of the best gelatos with the shape of a rose.
Gelarto Rosa is a special place a few steps away from the Basilica, in Budapest, and whoever walks in and buys some gelato would get it in a beautiful shape of rose petals. The wondrous-looking desserts are popular among people and even won the attention of the Cosmopolitan magazine.
They highlighted that, though the concept is not unique, the most gorgeous and delicious icy roses can be bought in the Hungarian capital city, at the Gelarto Rosa, where all of the products are homemade.
Guests may buy specialties, as each seasons’ offers differ: once they might have a combination of strawberry and elderberry, while the next time they may try basil and lemon, or lavender with white chocolate.
One portion of a rose costs 450 HUF, but 550 HUF shall be paid for two and 660 HUF for three roses. Visiting Gelarto Rosa is advised in early afternoons or at weekends, for it is pretty crowded in the evenings, and it may take a half an hour of queueing to get the flowery delicacy.
