The Latest Hungarian Invention: Keychain of the New Generation
Farkas Dániel came up with a great idea to ease our every day battles with inconvenient, bulky keychains – the Thin is Key (TIK). In order to guarantee an easy and fast access to the necessary key Dániel uses bicycle roller chain as a linking device between the key blades. He believes that key bows are of now actual functional use and are absolutely dispensable. This unique invention has very little chances of breakage because of the high-quality materials; it is noteworthy that TIKs are extremelylight weighted – during the production significant part of the classic key is removed.
Farkas Dániel has been drawn by optimism to make an item that will help avoid big, unmanageable keychains. He got an inspiration during his bicycle trip- bike chain can easily handle extra weight and has an excellent linking properties. In order to personalize any given TIK Farkas Dániel just needs to adjust the size (based on how many keys he or she uses), reattach the key blades and remove unnecessary bows. This creation is very environment friendly, since there is no need to produce new devices; he only uses roller chains, which were taken from the older or broken bikes. Minimalistic design and sophisticated structure hold up to the modern trends.
If Dániel manages to find sponsors, who will be willing to invest into this exciting business venture (approximately 23 thousand Dollars), he would like to conquer the Hungarian market first and will base his production headquarters in Budapest.
The Thin is Key has a great potential to become a household name. This invention stands out of the crowd: TIK is a wonderful example of creativity and forward thinking.
