The tallest water tower of Budapest – VIDEO
The tallest water tower of Budapest and Hungary is the “striped” water tower of Csepel. The inside of the reinforced concrete monstrosity, which is more than 70 m and it can hold 3 thousand liters of water, is like to be built for the scenery of Star Wars, its “terrace” provides a stunning view to the city, valasz.hu said.
We can thank the tall water towers for providing water with a normal pressure even on the eighth-tenth-floor. These buildings became integral parts of the cityscape, enough to mention the famous Arpad Street (Ujpest) or the Margitsziget water tower. The tallest one is located in Csepel.
