The unique sky bar in Budapest which attracts Hollywood to Hungary – Photos

After opening the Beefbar in the capital, the gastro-mogul Hlatky-Schlichter Hubert decided to create another place for the lovers of food and drink, but this time, up in the sky. Leo Bar started its test operation last year, and since then, it has expanded with a kitchen and is scheduled to get its final form next year at Hotel Clark. Soon, catering and hotel services will provide supplies for this sky bar, but it has already been flooded with the country’s prominent people, as well as Hollywood superstars.

Forbes reported that although Leo Bar is full of only Hungarian noises in the afternoon, many foreign tourists book a table ahead of flying to Budapest. It seems like not only Hungarian people love the amazing Budapest panorama from the sky bar but non-Hungarian speakers as well from different countries. At night, the place is filled with many people, and the fight begins for a table. Of course, those who have reservations do not have to worry, and the bar also keeps some tables available.

Among the many prominent Hungarian people, Hollywood superstars like Luke Evans, Terence Hill, Lewis Hamilton, Jason Momoa, and Scarlett Johansson have enjoyed the panorama from Leo Bar.

The Hungarian gastro-mogul runs the place with only another colleague. Hubert started to promote the place on his Instagram profile, and later on, people started to discover Leo Bar by themselves. The bar is capable of seating 100 people from Wednesday to Sunday with different DJs each night to get the party started. The bar also holds private parties.

The name of the sky bar comes from the iconic tongueless lions which guard the most famous Hungarian symbol, the Chain Bridge.

Apart from the delicious and unique drinks, the bar also offers three meal courses with traditional Hungarian meals and other delicacies from all over the world for 16 EUR. Soups and desserts are between 4–5 EUR, salads 9–20 EUR, and the special miniburger trio costs 12 EUR.
