Tonight: Hungarian Darts Show with Gerwyn Price, Michael van Gerwen, Phil Taylor and many others
In addition to Gerwyn Price, Raymond van Barneveld, Michael van Gerwen and Fallon Sherrock, Phil Taylor will also compete in the Budapest competition. A whirlwind darts show and international competition, where the world’s pros compete to win the first Hungarian Darts Cup.
The first half of the first major darts show in Hungary will feature special doubles matches, where world-famous darts players will pair up with Hungarian darts-loving Olympians and celebrities to compete against each other. This will be followed by the competition to win the first Hungarian Darts Show Cup.
As previously announced, in addition to previous world champions, current world number one Gerwyn Price, four-time world champion Raymond van Barneveld, three-time world champion Michael van Gerwen and the new audience favourite and top-ranked female player Fallon Sherrock, the sport’s retired legendary figure, Wayne Mardle, will also compete in Budapest.
A true legend, Phil Taylor from the UK, will also participate in the gala.
The sixteen-time world champion is considered to be the greatest figure in the sport, and one of the few players who have won world titles with both organisations (BDO, PDC).
Following the May competition,
Budapest will once again host a prestigious darts event in the autumn, as the Hungarian capital will return as one of the stops in the European Tour on September 2-4.
