Top 10 richest Hungarian people in 2023
Some names might be familiar to many on the list of the richest Hungarian people. This year’s list might or might not be surprising. One thing is for sure: it truly is fascinating to be looking at all those zeros.
Several of the top-ranked individuals have increased their wealth by nearly 50 percent compared to a year ago. Meanwhile, new billionaires have joined the list, napi.hu reports.
In December last year, we wrote that “never before in the history of Hungarian rich lists has the estimated wealth of a billionaire exceeded HUF 500 billion”. Now, in May 2023, the first two individuals on the list have an estimated wealth of more than HUF 600 (!) billion (EUR 1.62 billion) and the third one is following close behind.
The first two on the list are no surprise

The richest Hungarian is our Viktator. He just knows how to hide his money and wealth. His friend Mészáros is the second richest. Most of their money came from the EU grants…..building roads and other things for 5 times of what it should cost makes you a billionaire…
Hope the list will contain many more Hungarian billionaires on a list of rich Hungarians. There is no reason why clever Hungarians should not be rich. One day, a Hungarian should top the list and move Bezos, Soros and others down from the top of billionaire list. It is not a sin to be wealthy.
Petterfy is a Hungarian and is up there, Soros is very rich and is also up there
