Two Hungarians die in hotel ship accident
Berlin (MTI) – Two Hungarian crew members died when their hotel ship crashed into a bridge on the Danube-Rhein-Main Channel in Bavaria early on Sunday.
The two men, aged 33 and 49, had been staying at the wheelhouse of the ship, which was completely smashed in the collision.
None of the guests or the other crew members were injured in the accident.
The Hungarian government has voiced sympathy with families of the victims.
The ship of US-based Viking River Cruises was carrying 181 passengers and a crew of 49 and was heading for Budapest.
