FINA Artistic Swimming Junior World Championships to start on 18 July in Budapest!

It will take place in the Duna Arena between 18th and 22nd of July and tickets are already available HERE. This will be the second colossal swimming event of FINA in Budapest this year.

As we already reported, Budapest has the honour to host two prestigious swimming competitions this year. These are the 16th FINA Artistic Swimming World Series and the National Senior, Junior, and Masters Artistic Swimming Championships. The latter took place between the 18th and 20th of May while the former is going to happen this summer. Of course, the venue will be the Duna Arena built for the 17th FINA World Championships 2017.

In fact, the organizer FINA Artistic Swimming Junior World writes there that ‘after the great success of the FINA Artistic Swimming World Series the future stars of artistic swimming will visit and compete in the Hungarian capital.’ Thus, they encourage everybody not to miss the biggest artistic swimming show in the world as

more than 20 countries have already applied!

Hungarian success on the European Championships

According to mszusz.hu, Hungarian artistic swimmers started with a 12th place on the LEN European Junior Synchronised Swimming Championships in Tampere, Finland. The event started yesterday and is regarded to be the

prolusion of the world championships.
