Hungarian universities help

According to eduline.hu, the University of Pécs opened a website for applications. Those students can submit their documents who fled from the Russian invasion and would like to continue their studies in Hungary. Refugees can choose from hundreds of English and Hungarian programs at the institution. They will not have to pay to submit their application. Furthermore, the university’s leadership is now in talks with their foundation to create additional, student-friendly support schemes.

The faculties of the university offered foreign language programs for 413 students. The majority of these, 379 places, are on English language programs. Moreover, they offered 1960 places on Hungarian courses. Finally, the university will cover the costs of the studies – they said in a statement issued today.

The leadership of the Corvinus University Budapest decided the same. Ukrainian refugees will be able to continue their studies in their programs. Furthermore, the institution will help these students by offering financial allocations, donations, and accommodation in the dormitories. The university helps the Hungarian Ecumenical Charity with money and started a donation collection campaign in their buildings.
