VIDEO: People demonstrate against visit of Hungarian minister in Jerusalem
On Wednesday, Gergely Gulyás, the Prime Minister’s Chief of Staff, visited Jerusalem. In the city, demonstrators protested against his presence with loud whistles and shouts. The people gathered fear that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s judicial reform plan will create a system similar to Hungary’s. They want to avoid that as much as possible.
On Wednesday, Gergely Gulyás was giving an interview at the King David Hotel in Jerusalem when 25-30 people appeared in front of the building. They were protesting loudly against the Hungarian politician’s presence, the Jerusalem Post reported. A video of the demonstration was also made. In the recording, you can clearly hear that they tried to disrupt the visit of the politician to Jerusalem with whistles and shouts.

“I’m demonstrating for our democracy; here, there is a representative of the Hungarian government, which for us represents the most anti-democratic regime in Europe, one of the most anti-democratic,” Jack Corcos, one of the protestors, is quoted by the Jerusalem Post. “We are very worried, because we don’t want the same to happen here.”
Meanwhile, Gergely Gulyás said during the interview that there is no question that the Hungarian government is functioning democratically. He stressed that he stands up for Hungary’s justice system, which is often criticised. He added that he believes Hungary, like Israel, is often criticised too harshly and isolated, Telex reports, citing the Israeli news portal.

Ah yes, the permanently aggrieved, professional activists who should be at work, contributing to their country, instead out on the streets whining about something or other. What else is new… “Ein 7adash ta7at hashemesh” (“There’s nothing new under the sun.”)
Steiner Michael – nothing NEW that your HERO being Victor Orban – knowingly controls and runs the Judiciary in Hungary – WRONGFUL and not DEMOCRATIC.
The Prime Minister of Israel, his “personal” files, matters still to come before the Courts of Israel, the approach and direction that Netanyahu – the changes he wishes to implement into the Israel Judicial System, muchly in mind, to “ease” the matters and possibility of charges and convictions that Netanyahu has to FACE.
Netanyahu – is a replication in type to Donald J. Trump that will see the NEED of him facing court(s) defending him-self for matters that POSSIBILY he – Netanyahu could do time behind bars.
Krijg de Nitty Gritty, is de Biden clan dan zo zuiver # Burisma en Hunter??!! Qatar Gate in het EP met Marokko als hoofdrolspeler??!! Het EP is tot tot op het bot!!!
As if there is such a great regime in Jerusalem. As if democracy exists over there. All those people being jabbed during the covid hoax were forced to be vaccinated. I am sure they were not demonstrating.
So 25 – 30 people were paid to raise their voices and shout? I can’t say I am impressed. Sounds to me like the minority doesn’t care.
By the way: I find it very hard to believe people in Jerusalem have knowledge about the countries in Europe, the differences of the nationalities, their histories and their present way of living.
