Weather forecast: fog alert for most of Hungary
Fog warnings are in place for most of Hungary (for ten counties) for the end of the week. Very thick fog is expected by Thursday and Friday, and a yellow warning has been issued by the Hungarian Meteorological Service (OMSZ), 24.hu reports. The highest temperature will be between 6°C and 12°C, the lowest temperature will be between 0°C and 4°C.
Fog warnings are in place for ten counties for Thursday and five counties for Friday. Thick fog is expected East from the Danube. The fog might break up around noon, but it is likely to reformulate in the evening at the Eastern and South-Eastern parts of the country. 15-20 mm rain is expected in the Southern Transdanubian region.
Friday: The sky will be particularly cloudy in the morning, the sun will shine here and there, but precipitation is not expected. In most parts of the country, the sun will shine in the afternoon, but rain is to be expected in the Northern counties. The highest temperature will be between 8°C and 15°C with a brisk wind.
Saturday: The sun might come out for a few hours, but the weather will be mostly cloudy. Precipitation is not expected. The temperature will increase significantly; the highest temperature will be between 10°C and 16°C, which is excellent news for those who have had enough of the cold weather already. The wind will not as be as strong as on Friday, but some is expected.
Sunday: The weather will be very similar to that of the day before. The sun will shine for a few hours, but clouds will dominate the sky for most of the day. Drizzle is expected. Strong south winds are expected too. The highest temperature will be between 11°C and 19°C which can almost be called the perfect spring temperature.
