Would you travel abroad with a Hungarian immunity certificate? Here is all the info!

Change language:

Hungary is concluding agreements with more and more countries on the adoption of the Hungarian immunity certificate. This will hopefully help tourism to resume soon.

It is necessary to pay attention because the Hungarian immunity certificate is not necessarily enough for a quarantine- and test-free entry. For more accessible information, with the help of portfolio.hu we summarise the situation by country. The list below contains the list of countries that agreed with Hungary, supplemented by the information available on the Consular Service website.

Bahrain

The BeAware Bahrain application is required when entering Bahrain. Upon arrival, the staff of the Ministry of Health will upload the right to enter the application. Unvaccinated between 6 and 18-year-olds need a PCR test on arrival.

Croatia

Free entry is possible after 14 days from the second vaccination.

Contrary to previous news, you do not need a separate document in English. People between 7 and 18 years old can be tested for the vaccine.

Czech Republic

Under the agreement, the two countries mutually accept each other’s immunity certificates. For single-dose vaccinations and the first dose at the double-dose vaccinations, 22 days should elapse after the first vaccination before entering the country.

Georgia

Unrestricted entry is possible for everyone who has an immunity certificate. Without the card, a PCR test no older than 72 hours is required, which must be repeated three days later at your own expense.

Montenegro, Mongolia

By mutual agreement, quarantine and test-free entry is possible. There are currently no other special rules.
