After a long day of wandering around Budapest and exploring the city, you might work up a thirst. If you fancy a booze break, check out these awesome pubs in the Hungarian capital.
London Stone Pub
Every European city has its own English pub. London Stone Pub is one of the best British pubs in Budapest. It’s located in district VII., in the Jewish Quarter. Stepping into this dimly lit pub is like suddenly finding yourself in the British capital. The place is pocket-size, yet very charming and authentic. They offer an ever-changing, tempting variety of drinks. However, you can also go for some good old classics.

Hintaló Iszoda
Hintaló Iszoda is located in the heart of the city, just a couple of minutes walk from Blaha Lujza Square. This terrific place has everything that a cosy underground pub has to offer. They boasts a wide selection of rums, gins, vodkas and cheeky cocktails. The homey pub is decorated with vintage furniture and rocking horses. If you are lucky, you may catch one of their DJ-sets.

Pótkulcs Budapest
If you’re looking for a pub that’s not overcrowded, Pótkulcs might be the perfect choice for you. It oozes a ruin-pub atmosphere and has plenty of space for bigger groups. Pótkulcs regularly hosts fun cultural programmes: folk dance nights, film clubs, stand-up shows and everything else under the sun. The menu consists of tasty dishes as well as drinks, including Hungarian pálinka and various types of beer. The pub is conveniently located in district VI., therefore, it’s within easy reach by public transportation.









Are you serious? Not wishing to disrespect these places but i can think off the top of my head 3 better places in VIII and IX! ( Krudy Sorozo, Elaszto and Borhalo on the Grand Korut)
