10 cheap opportunities to fly away from Budapest in the winter

Although neither autumn nor winter has shown its real face yet this year, you can make sure to be far away when the freeze kicks in: it is worth buying your ticket in advance to a warmer place since there are plenty of cheap opportunities.

Thanks to low-cost airlines, it is no longer just a privilege of the rich to fly away from the winter cold. According to Origo.hu, you can travel to a Mediterranean city for just HUF 6000 (EUR 18) from Budapest with WizzAir or Ryanair.

You should not expect heatwaves for this price at this time of the year, but 15-16 degrees sound much better than 1-2, right? Also, you can avoid the crowds and high accommodation prices.
