2/3rd of the coronavirus samples are the delta variant!
One Covid patient died over the past 24 hours, while 45 new coronavirus infections were registered, koronavirus.gov.hu said on Tuesday. So far 5,681,559 people have received a first jab, while 5,500,369 have been fully vaccinated.

while fatalities have risen to 30,042. Fully 768,519 people have made a recovery.

So far, most infections have been registered in Budapest and Pest County, followed by the counties of Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén, Győr-Moson-Sopron and Hajdú-Bihar.

According to 24.hu, there are 130 thousand citizens who accepted the third jab. Furthermore, the National Public Health Center examined the 393 samples that have been sent to their lab since May, and they found that 253 of them contained delta variants. The increase of the new variant is continuous since May.
