Good Charlotte is coming to Budapest
Budapest has been quite a significant location for concerts for a long time and luckily it does not really seem to get any worse. It is not only the famous Sziget Festival that allows people to be enchanted by good live music, but the stadium and outside venue gigs are also prominent in the Hungarian capital city.
This time it is the American pop punk Good Charlotte who made their Hungary-based fans happy by announcing that they are going to play at the city’s biggest outside venue Budapest Park on June 17. Shortscore.net writes that it is not the first time the band, led by the Madden brothers, visits the country (they performed at Sziget earlier), though, they were on a hiatus since the last time.
Having sold 11 million albums worldwide, finally last year the US rockers reunited and released their sixth album called ‘Youth Authority’ and have been ready to entertain all the Good Charlotte lovers around the world. Fortunately for us, the band includes Budapest in their European tour, kicking off on June 7 in Paris.
Tickets go on sale from today (Jan 27) and, according to the official Facebook event, there are several types of tickets available: starting with the Super Early Bird ones, if you want to have some fun Like it’s [your] Birthday, and special terrace offers, in case you are living the Lifestyles of the Rich and the Famous.
Make sure not to miss watching the guys and their guests at Budapest Park, you will surely hear some great anthems and let your inner pop-punker out for (at least) a night out wearing All Black. Further information about the gig and tickets shall be found at the aforementioned event site and also at goodcharlotte.com
