ThyssenKrupp to build new plant in Debrecen
Budapest, February 3 (MTI) – Germany’s ThyssenKrupp Springs and Stabilizers will build a new plant through investment of 35 million euros in Debrecen (E Hungary), creating 250 new jobs, managing director of the Hungarian unit ThyssenKrupp Presta Hungary Marc De Bastos Eckstein said on Friday.
Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó said the Hungarian government is supporting the investment with a 3.8 billion forint grant. The new plant will make state-of-the-art automotive parts for major car manufacturers, he added.
ThyssenKrupp executive manager Matthias Koll said production at the plant could start in 2018. Annual production capacity will be 6.5 million coil springs and stabilizers.
