China Marks 65th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations
Budapest, October 6 (MTI) – Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang has sent a letter of congratulations and good wishes to his Hungarian counterpart Viktor Orban on the 65th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries, the head of the prime minister’s press office told MTI on Monday.
Bilateral relations have developed and yielded fruits in several areas since then, Bertalan Havasi said, citing the letter.
The Chinese premier noted that during Orban’s visit to China in February this year the two sides agreed to expand practical cooperation.
China highly appreciates that Orban pays keen attention to developing ties between the two countries and is committed to intensifying relations between China and the central and eastern European countries, he said.
The Chinese government attributes great importance to relations with Hungary and is prepared to profoundly develop partnership with the CEE countries, including Hungary, on the basis of reciprocal benefits, the premier said.
