Syrian man wanted by German police detained in Hungary – VIDEO
Budapest (MTI) – A Syrian man wanted by German police for alleged homicide has been detained in Hungary, the police headquarters said on its website on Thursday.
Police of the Lőkösháza border patrol in south-east Hungary forced to man to get off a train heading to Romania on Wednesday. He had German identification documents but no valid travel documents, the website said.
After police checked his data, it was established that the 25-year-old man was wanted by Germany and he was detained by the Gyula police force.
