China, Hungary art academies conclude cultural cooperation agreement
Budapest (MTI) – The national art academies of China and Hungary signed a cooperation agreement on jointly organising cultural programmes including exhibitions, concerts and conferences, in Budapest on Tuesday.
The document was signed by the deputy president of the Chinese academy and the president of the Hungarian partner institution in the Pesti Vigadó concert hall where an exhibition opened on Monday.
The exhibition presents the traditions of Chinese paintings, calligraphy and seal engraving through the works of nine contemporary artists.
On Tuesday, a conference is held about traditional Chinese cultural and art concepts, art branches, education and music.
