British Airways Budapest flights cancelled
Budapest, May 27 (MTI) – All Budapest flights of UK flag carrier British Airways were cancelled on Saturday because of a major IT failure.
BA announced earlier on Saturday that it cancelled all flights from London’s two main airports, Heathrow and Gatwick, scheduled before 5pm GMT.
BA operates four flights to Budapest on Saturdays and the carrier’s two morning flights arrived on schedule, according to Budapest Airport’s flight information system.
The flights scheduled to land in Budapest at 4.55pm and 6.20pm, however, have been cancelled, as have the flights scheduled to leave Budapest for London at 5.50pm and 7.10pm.
