Foster The People comes for the first time to Hungary
Mark Foster’s indie-disco band performs for the first time in Hungary at Budapest Park. Origo.hu reports that those who have a VOLT armband can buy tickets cheaper, even on arrival.
Some of the performers at Budapest Park are like old friends, they’ve been here a couple times, but there are some stars for whom music lovers have been waiting for for a very long time, like the indie band, Foster The People.
The Los Angeles-based band was founded by Mark Foster in 2009, after meeting Mark Pontius and Cubbie Fink. They worked hard to get international recognition, but they got there: their song, Pumped up Kicks is known by millions and is one of the most popular indie songs of the 21st century. The song ranked first on Billboard’s Alternative list, and on the Rock list it became third. It also made it to the third place on the Top 100 list compiled by Billboard.
The Grammy-nominated band comes to Hungary with their new album, performing for the first time here, on July 4th. As for all of the concerts at Budapest Park, those being in possession of a VOLT entry armband (make sure to keep it after you return from the festival) can purchase their tickets at a discount from July 2nd.
It isn’t just the Foster the People who will perform at Budapest Park: Marilyn Manson returns to Hungary after more than a decade, for a gig at the Park, presenting his new album, SAY10. If you’re interested in either of these concerts or any other events, you can check out Budapest Park’s website for further information.
