Schafer-Oesterle inaugurates EUR 420,000 production hall

Germany‘s Schafer-Oesterle, which makes leather car interiors, inaugurated a 130 million forint (EUR 420,421) production hall at its base in Bonyhád (SW Hungary) on Wednesday.

The 1,000-sqm hall will boost production volume by 25 percent and raise headcount by 100 to 400, said Istvan Frei, the managing director of the company’s local unit.

At the inauguration, Frei and Bonyhad mayor Ibolya Ferencz-Filo signed a cooperation agreement on building another 1,200-sqm production hall.

Schafer-Oesterle counts Audi, BMW, Lamborghini, Porsche, Rolls-Royce and Bentley among its business partners.
