Young Hungarian tennis player dies after a victorious match

Borsonline.hu writes that Tamás Tihanyi, a young tennis player from Gyula, recently passed away without any premonitory signals. There were no signs of the 23-year-old athlete’s incurable disease.

On the day of his death, the young player of the Gyula Tennis recreational Sport Club, Tamás Tihanyi played a victorious match in the national cup. It is believed that after the success, he travelled to Budapest to visit one of his best friends, but he never returned. He died in his sleep due to sudden cardiac arrest after 10 pm. Allegedly the reason behind the tragedy was an incurable disease, which didn’t have any premonitory signals.

“I trained with him for 4-5 years when he was a kid, I made him love tennis. He was an everyday guest at the tennis court, but he also loved to play basketball and football.
